Her poems, laced with humour, will often tell a story, or give you a new take on an old familiar story, with a super sharp observation of life.

As an ex-member of a poetry performing quartet, Irene is no stranger to the stage. Her poetry and prose has been a source of delight to members of the Clayton Green Library Writers Group. rene was a late starter in life, finally graduating from university just in time to retire! She mis-spent most of her time there by performing with a poetry quartet, trying to support the Harris Museum and persuading people to taste-test Fairtrade chocolate. Although deeply enamoured of language, literature and history – maybe she should have paid more attention during lectures? Her attempts to share her knowledge with you should be taken with a very large pinch of salt.
We will be playing at various events throughout Lancashire, but we could be performing at YOUR venue. Just drop us a line at chris@lancashirepoetryrelayteam.com
